Phew, probably this is the last month of the biting cold, well, if the earth has no planned surprises for us. February is one of the best months to travel to a major part of the country, owing to its temperate weather condition. Summer has not set in yet and winter is on verge of residing. Being a summer country, this is the ideal time along with the month of March, this is the Spring time! If that’s what on your mind we’ve got a perfect list for you.

1. Kaziranga, Assam

Animals are dangerous, accepted!  They can kill too, accepted! But nothing like this stops a million of tourists from exploring the world of wild animals.  They seem dangerous at the second place, but fascinating at the first.  And this is one of the reasons why people from all over the world come and visit Kaziranga national park.  If you ask specifically, one horned rhino calls them here.  The magnet which attracts eyes to the place.  And there is a certainty that you’d go without any lines on your forehead.  The national park consists 75% of one horned rhino.  Bengal foxes, leopards, and flying squirrels, too can be found here.  Oh, wait!  Did we just say FLYING SQUIRREL!? No, we’re not mistaken, it is Nagaur, not Nagpur we’re talking of.  A tiny place in Rajasthan it is. History shines in the very walls of the majestic forts and palaces of this town. An abode to some of the most prominent rulers of Mughal dynasty and battlefields.  Scroll the history pages, and you’d know.  And the best part is yet to be mentioned.  The place holds the second largest cattle fest in India at this time of the month. And in competition is Jodhpur, a home to some of the magnificent palaces, forts, and lake.  It holds the Sufi music festival, for all of them whom music has always been a saviour.

If you happen to be serial Bollywood movie watcher, you’ve saved our day.  Wondering why?  Because now, not us, but these Bollywood movies will tell you about this place.  If you happened to watch, ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ and ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’,   you’ve already Visited Gulmarg.  Now a question pops up in your head, Ye Jawani Hai Deewani was shot in Manali, no it wasn’t.  Google it if you doubt.
